  • Attended SSAC meeting in San Juan

    • WHOIS report

      • SSAC report determined that email addresses appearing in WHOIS registration records lead to statistically significant increase in unsolicited email (SPAM) . Address used in registering domain gets huge increase in spam.

      • Interest that follow-up report be more extensive and involve/engage consumers/at-large. Details will be announced when WHOIS report is finalized and published.

      • Would be strategic for At-large to be involved (engage NCUC perhaps as well..)

  • Have joined SSAC mailing list

  • Confirmed that accepted as full member of SSAC, with access to private meetings (if & when they occur - usually at icann meetings)

  • No conference calls have yet occurred. They are at least monthly, if not more often
