April 2015 – SSAC Liaison Report

1.            SSAC MEETINGS.  The SSAC Meeting scheduled for 9 April 2015 was cancelled. 

2.            SSAC WORK PARTIES.  I am currently participating in three SSAC Work Parties:

• New gTLDs – Mid-course correction, Collisions, Timing of next round:  The only meeting of this WP in the reporting period was on 1 April. A number of scheduled meetings were cancelled due to unavailability of WP members.
• Registrant Protection/Credential Management: I attended the meeting of this WP on 8 April.  One other scheduled meeting was cancelled due to unavailability of both WP co-chairs.
• ICANN 53 Buenos Aires Program: The first meeting of this WP was on 28 April.
