- AfRALO consulted ALSs for interested candidates, one candidate expressed his interest.
- Khaled KOUBAA (Isoc Tunisia) - see his Bio.
- AfRALO consulted ALSs for interested candidates, one candidate expressed his interest.
- NA
- NA RALO was consulted - several names were proposed. However, not all names proposed confirmed their interest.
- NA ALAC reps arranged several ad-hoc conference calls to review candidates proposed by NA ralo as well as others. After much online discussion, and several conference calls the 3 NA ALAC reps have not yet been able to come to a consensus on a specific candidate.
- Consensus that the two names currently on our short list be put forward. They are both from Canada and are as follows:
- Evan Leibovitch- Nominated & accepted.
- Ross Rader - Nominated & accepted.
- In the next 2-3 days (by 21/22 Sept) NA ALAC reps will continue to discuss the two candidates and try to come to a consensus on one of the two. If possible, a consensus candidate would be preferred. Should that be possible, the opinion will be stated on the ALAC list. Otherwise, we will obtain CV'd and details from the two candidates and share them with the committee.
- Going forward, it has been recommended that in the future call for nominations be done by NA RALO and at-large as a whole in a way that is far more public, and issues far earlier (in spring) so as to attract more candidates.
Timeline

By 22nd September

I want to repeat my comment made two weeks ago. In case of LAC RALO candidates, the most accepted by ALS`s was MATIAS ALTAMIRA GIGENA, for that reason I think his name must be in a first position of the table. Carlos Aguirre
