Oksana Prykhodko:I would like to draw attention to the role of the Council of Europe in IG, and not only in Europe

Oksana Prykhodko:In Istanbul we discussed the ways to strengthen ties between national, regional and global IGFs and the role of IGFs in IG ecosystem. Together with ISOC Armenia we propose to establish On-Going Committees of national IGFs with participation in them of all key actors: ICANN, ISOC, MAG, and of representatives of other national IGfs. On October 3 we will have our Fifth IGF-UA - with very strong representation not only from EuroDIG and ICANN (with Olivier from both sides), and, I hope, with representatives of Armenian IGF. I propose to discuss this our joint Ukraine-Armenia initiative in ICANN and in MAG while preparing next EuroDIG and IGF.

Avri Doria:as someone who was an ICANN perrson but not ICANN funded, i found i had almost no contact with the ICANN machinery while at IGF.
