  Glenn McKnight:I think all  proposals  need to have   S.M.A.R.T. results  based analysis  for  any activity.  These  proposals  need to also align with the Strategic plans of ICANN and the ICANN outreach aggenda
  murray mckercher:I believe we can do a lot of outreach via social networks with  limited travel..however I also believe other RALOs may have different requirements

  murray mckercher:I have been to CEBIT in the past and I would not disagree with Roberto, and obviously th eboard needs an improved method to deal with these requests
  Glenn McKnight:The  NARALO  Outreach committee was  formed in october at ICANN TORONTO  and we have discussed  specific  outreach especially to Native  North Americans, Disabled, Targetted  outreach to states and provinces that are not represented.  We  need to recruit real active members   Our  outreach efforts also need to work in tandem with the ISOC  chapters and ARIN
  Glenn McKnight:Any effort for outreach is  good.   Effective outreach is more than tradeshows
  Glenn McKnight:We  need to engage the CIVIL  SOCIETY  ie. WSIS  etc
  Glenn McKnight:I agree with Wolf  that  these  trade shows  are not the correct target group
  murray mckercher:I believe outreach for new ALS's need to be a part of a larger strategi cplan that each RALO should submitt to the Chair of ALAC..Oliveir..any comments?

  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:Glenn / Murray  many of the ALSes  do all these things  regulary but NOT as ICANN funded projects

  Glenn McKnight:NARALO  outreach needs  tangible strategies  to build new  blood  especially those not involved.  We have lots of  inactive  ALS
