Consolidated Policy Working Group (CPWG)
Description
Background
Co-chaired by Avri Doria and Olivier-Crepin Leblond, the CPWG merges together the At-Large Registration Issues Working Group, At-Large New gTLDs Working Group and At-Large ICANN Evolution Working Group.
Aims and Objectives
The aim of CPWG is to drive policy comments and advice within the At-Large community, and create best practices for identifying Internet end user issues within ICANN. CPWG is a central ingest point for At-Large DNS Policy discussions. Policy issues are evaluated for relevance to/remit of ICANN and At-Large. CPWG facilitates for DNS Policy issues:
Position development
Socialization/feedback/consensus building within At-Large
Workgroup participation
Drafting
Action determination
