a. Statements approved by the ALAC:

• None

b. Statements that seem to be stalled or require a decision: 

• ICANN Draft Five-Year Operating Plan - ALAC commenting on a Statement 

• Cross Community Working Group (CWG) on Naming Related Functions Draft Transition Proposal - @Alan Greenberg submitted the 2nd draft of the Statement to the Public Comment process on behalf of the ALAC. The 2nd draft is still under development and calling for comments across the community till Friday 19 December 23:59 UTC. Taking the comments on the 2nd draft into consideration, a final version will be ratified by the ALAC and submitted prior to the completion of the comment period on 22 December 2014. However, in the interest of receiving feedback on this Statement timely, the ALAC submitted the 2nd draft first. 

• IDN TLD Program - Label Generation Ruleset (LGR) Tool Project (P1) - LGR Tool Set Specifications - @satish.babu has written to the Arabic and Neo-Brahmi Generation Panels for their opinion on the LGR Tool Specifications, and if there were any issues to be raised from an end-user perspective at this stage. He will get back to Staff about whether a Statement is necessary after hearing from the Generation Panels. 

c. Public Comment requests to which the ALAC decides not to submit Statements: 

• .MADRID - Introduction of Two Approved Launch Programs - Public Comment closes on 24.12.2014

• New gTLD Auction Rules for Indirect Contention - Public Comment closes on 13.01.2015

d. New Public Comment requests requiring decision: 

• Proposed Renewal of .JOBS Sponsored TLD Registry Agreement 

• Release of Country and Territory Names within the .BMW and .MINI TLDs - The ALAC decided not to issue a Statement in respond to a related Public Comment: Release of Country and Territory Names within the .NEUSTAR TLD

5. EuroDIG Planning process for Sofia, June 2015

• a) Call for proposals and Open Planning meeting, January (Sandra  - 10 min.)

• b) Planning of pre-event SEE Round table
