Maritza Aguero:Hello everyone!
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:Hello everyone
vanda SCARTEZINI:here holiday

vanda SCARTEZINI:in a noise place so i am just in adobe connection
Glenn McKnight:Background on the idea of BIRDS of a FEATHER or BOF
Glenn McKnight:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birds_of_a_feather_(computing)
Glenn McKnight:muted
Heidi Ullrich:Welcome, All!
Heidi Ullrich:@All, please speak slowly
Siranush Vardanyan:I am only via adobe space, so can only type. APRALO is in the process of preparing FY17 strategy, so, we are in the process. We will finalize it in Helsinki and submit
Maureen Hilyard:Thanks Siranush
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:Thanks Siranush

Siranush Vardanyan:great, Maureen
Glenn McKnight:muted
Alan Greenberg:Sorry for being late.
vanda SCARTEZINI:dev , good summary. from our region, thanks
Maritza Aguero:+ 1 @Vanda
Pascal Bekono:Hello everyone
Maritza Aguero:And yes. @Dev informed about Lacalo´s Plan last monthly call.
Maritza Aguero:That would be excellent @Janice!!
Siranush Vardanyan 2:i have joined via phone as well
Wolf Ludwig:Olivier is perfectly summarizing the state of art
Carlton Samuels:Howdy all
Carlton Samuels:@OCL: Did the one-on-one calls make a difference?
Wolf Ludwig:They love to be personally reminded -- it looks like taking them serious ;-)
Carlton Samuels:@Wolf: Aaaah, says something
Alan Greenberg:All but one NARALO ALSes voted in recent election!
Carlton Samuels:@Alan: That is a good first start. Historically in LACRALO elections was a time when you see everyone. In the last few cycles we have had elections that demonstrate no one elected is demonstrably representative!
Carlton Samuels:Not even a plurailyt of the votes received.
vanda SCARTEZINI:i lost her
Wolf Ludwig:Well, I think we cannot -- after all efforts Olivier described -- mobilize most of them but at least around 3/4 ...
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:@Calrton: yes each one of the people that I spoke to voted within the hour. They were very apologetic but I took a concilliatory approach and telling them we know they are busy but an effort was required for them to be fair to EURALO and fair to their own end users
Wolf Ludwig:Plus 1 @Olivier!
Carlton Samuels:@OCL: Very encouraging to see the EURALO results!
vanda SCARTEZINI 2:olivier, thanks, Sira, congrats...
Maureen Hilyard:Nothing more to add Siranush covered everything
Maureen Hilyard:thanks Siranush
Siranush Vardanyan 2:thanks
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:Would a chat group using something like Slack work better for persons to receive At-Large updates instead of the usual email?
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:Something to think about
Maureen Hilyard:Using a wiki workspace works as well... if you can find it when you need it. The community wiki still needs to be organised better
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:https://icann-community.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/atlarge/pages/99612327/Outreach+Calendars

Dev Anand Teelucksingh:https://icann-community.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/gsecivilsoc/overview
Janice Lange:need to realize that of the 32 alumni, only 8 are "uncommitted" to a community so some of the 32 will be actively engaged that day in gNSO odiscussions if they are already members of one of those commnunites

Olivier Crepin-Leblond:iThanks JAnice! Perhaps an AI for this WG?
Wolf Ludwig:No we don't! The only member ALS in Scandinavia is ISOC Finland.
Glenn McKnight:its lunch time
Janice Lange:I am good to support from an OUtreach and Engagement perspective in coordination with the Policy staff working with At Large
Glenn McKnight:BOF are informal sessions , no need for facilite and community driven\
Glenn McKnight:|the SuRVEY ....
Glenn McKnight:Don't forget the Captioning survey
Janice Lange:Alan - that is exactly what I meant so thank you for clarifing...this was a joint issue - changes came from both staff and community - we do need to see this as a pilot meeting and provide comment on it as such
Siranush Vardanyan 2:thank u all and bye
Pascal Bekono:Where is the survey please?
Wolf Ludwig:Won't be available during week 2
Maritza Aguero:Thank you very much.
