At-Large Leadership Welcome to ICANN82
Summary Notes:
The At-Large Message points “DNS Abuse, Next Round and Reviews’ were discussed.
Members discussed the talking points and sessions reporting.
Leon Sanchez, Board Director selected by At-Large, provided an update about the meeting held with the Board on Friday 07 March. The result was considered very good, it enhanced the understanding of the At-Large community and value added by this community. He mentioned that he is in the Board workshop discussing topics such as PHR. CIP and next Round/ASP topics, internet governance and WSIS+20.

Summary Notes:
There was a discussion of the regular policy topics including Registration Data Request Services (RDRS),, IANA Naming Function Review, Registration Data Accuracy, Next Round IRT, PPPSAI IRT and DNS Abuse.
CPWG statistics were displayed. There have been 5 public comments opportunities, 2 of which were developed into statements since ICANN81. Fifteen At-Large members have volunteered to review public comments. Two Topic dives have been held. There have been 10 CPWG meetings since ICANN81.
Next Round of New gTLDS/SubPro - A detailed presentation on the ALAC statement in response to the Public Comment on the 4th proceeding for the proposed language of the AGB ws provided.
Topic dives - Was briefly mentioned and suggestions were made.
Action Items:
ALAC Community Engagement Subcommittee (ACES)
Summary Notes:
Amrita reiterated that ACES team structure is useful but she does not want to over complicate and an open structure was suggested, building on strengths.
Lilian Luque noted that basic knowledge and understanding about key concepts such as UA are needed, she stressed that visual elements are essential, the videos are very useful
Amrita- Depends on the target audience, we need videos in localized language
Emilia mentioned that measurement/KPIs are important
Sheedreep pointed out that UA day was successful because of funds
Amrita stated that ACES needs a plan, we need to target the right group.
Jonathan Zuck noted that metrics should be focused on ourselves, how well we know our ALS, our allies, we need to capture.
Eduardo Diaz presented a case study on a social media campaign he organized. He used “mailchimp”.
Action Items:
All ACES members are asked to review the ACES charter, provide inputs by end of March.
UA Mobilization Campaign - All ACES members are asked to identify one company from each Region to focus a UA campaign.
