Consumers constituency meeting: |
One or two of the individuals attending were involved with the NCUC consumer interest group activity. It is my feeling that the meeting was useful as it clarified for those individuals the reality of the formal proposal that conforms to the new NCSG realities.
A fuller understanding of the nuances surrounding this meeting was gained through attendance at the GNSO meeting at Noon.
The “interest group” idea seems to be promoted by the group involved with the old NCUC. They are opposed to the constituency proposal.
This dichotomy was reflected in the afternoon meeting. The next steps were unclear but the majority of the attendees wanted the proposal to move forward. The attendees will be contacted by e-mail for follow up.
