BCEC - 20.10.10 - Action Items
AI: Heidi to initiate the following: a) Cross-Policy discussion regarding how to better handle the links used for meetings, in calendars, etc.; and, b) Request that Confluence be set up so that, by default, when you click on a link it opens in a separate window.
AI: Cheryl and staff to send out, as soon as possible, the consent forms regarding due diligence to all in the slate of candidates decided upon (later) in this BCEC meeting.
AI: Staff to direct following changes to the election timeline diagrams:
- Hybrid version 3 should be created from versions 1 and 2 by placing the colored continuous arrow from version 2, keeping the dates within the arrow but deleting all the rest of version 2’s explanatory text, above or below the squares of version 1
- Title of diagram should be (note capitalization): 2010 Schedule for the Board Director Selection by the ALAC/At-Large Community
- The date in the first box of ver. 1 should be changed to 28 October (from 3 November) (see minutes below for discussion)
- In the version 2’s continuous arrow that’s used in the hybrid, turn the last arrow at the right into a shape that does not indicate time continues – that is, that does not point to the right.
AI: Staff to schedule next BCEC meeting on 28 Oct at 21:00 UTC.
AI: Cheryl to contact all references listed by each of the five candidates on the current slate and write a report for the BCEC on the outcome (to be done by or before the 28 Oct BCEC meeting).
AI: Each BCEC member to send his/her list of candidate indicators for the final evaluation round to the BCEC mailing list in less than five days after the 20 Oct meeting.
AI: Cheryl to send BCEC members a written record of what they can tell their RALOs at this time about the selection process.
