Informe numero uno:

Estimados amigos de las ALS de América Latina y Caribe que conforman la RALO:

Quiero con estas breves líneas, contarles que el día 9 de enero tuve la primera teleconferencia con los miembros de ALAC en donde considero no se trataron temas muy relevantes para la región.

Considero necesario que las ALS designen sus dos representantes para conformar la Asamblea General tal como lo piden los Principios Operativos y a fin de que esta Asamblea designe, discuta y resuelva los temas importantes para la región y para que los representantes podamos llevarlos, discutirlos y defenderlos en ALAC.

Considero también importante se establezca desde secretaría un mecanismo de trabajo y decisión online a los fines de tomar posición en algunos temas que pudieran ser calientes o urgentes.

Por último, me parece importante que podamos discutir y resolver fecha y lugar de la próxima reunión presencial de la Asamblea General a fin de solicitar el apoyo de ICANN para su realización.

Espero una pronta respuesta y la decisión de asumir el mucho trabajo que nos espera.

Report number one

Dear colleagues from ALS from Latin America and Caribean members of LAC-RALO,
I am writting to you in order to make you know the activities that I have being doing in the days after the meeting at Sao Paulo. On January 9th we had a teleconference where we discussed not hot issues.

I consider that the topics that were developed were not much important for the region in ALAC.

However, I had the need to remind you how important is to name the two representants from each ALS that are stablished by the OP in order to form the General Assembly.

More over, I consider very important to work on the RALO so we are able to make decisions and instructions for the two representants in ALAC.

Finally I think that it would be a great oportunity if we could stablish by secretariat a procedure to work this online in order to make quick decisions. In the same sense, I consider much important to decide the date and place were the next face to face reunion is going to be. (For this reason the day before yesterday I sent a reminder by LAC-RALO website)

I expect a quick answer and your decision about working a lot.
