At ICANN83, the ccNSO will host a series of sessions focused on key issues relevant to the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) community. Select sessions will feature simultaneous interpretation to support broader participation and deeper information-sharing.
Monday, 9 June
Tech Day, open to all ICANN community members, will cover technical, operational, and security topics.
Tuesday, 10 June
The day begins with a welcome session featuring among others updates on IANA services. The ccNSO Internet Governance Liaison Committee (IGLC) will review the implementation of WSIS principles and ccTLD contributions over the past 20 years. The ccNSO Universal Acceptance Committee (UAC) will explore UA readiness challenges for ccTLDs and potential solutions through collaboration with relevant authorities. The day concludes with the ccNSO Finance Working Group (FIN2 WG) presenting its final recommendations on voluntary, fair, and equitable financial contribution models, based on an April 2025 community survey.
Wednesday, 11 June
Activities start with a casual ccNSO Newcomers Meet-Up, followed by the ccTLD News Session where managers will share regional updates. The DNS Abuse Standing Committee (DASC) will discuss domain-related abuse tied to scams and financial crime. The day wraps up with a joint ccNSO-GNSO Registry Stakeholder Group session on shared areas of interest.
Thursday, 12 June
The week concludes with the ccNSO Council meeting.
