IDN VIP

• Discussions started and progressing well for the 6 study teams
• Face-to-face meetings planned for a few of the study teams
• Study teams target to produce initial report by end of Sep 2011
• Full VIP report targeted to be produced by Dec 2011
  

JIG

• Discussion on Universal Acceptance of IDN TLDs ongoing
• First draft of Initial report circulated within JIG
• Extension of Charter completed with GNSO (to be confirmed by ccNSO in their August meeting)
• Extension of JIG to end of 2012 to complete the remaining 2 items of common interest: 2. IDN Variant TLDs, 3. Universal Acceptance of IDN TLDs.

• IDN ccPDP discussions restarted since Singapore
• Still relatively quiet
  

ALAC Standing IDN WG

• Better charter to be drafted
• WG members to be recruited
• Regular meetings to be scheduled
• Apologies have not progressed since Singapore (will further the work in the coming month)
