- March 12 meeting mainly a dialogue with the IDN VIP team

- March 15 meeting discussed the approach and direction of ALAC response to the IDN VIP Project Plan

- ALAC webminar to be conducted between now and extended end of public comments

- Wed March 14

- IDN VIP team expressed their willingness to listen to community input and make appropriate changes

- Main discussion surrounded

- Wed March 14

- panel discussed the issues facing new gTLDs and new IDN ccTLDs as they enter the root

- identified acceptance issues from many different aspects, from search engines to hard coded lists in software systems, etc.

- no clear conclusion or direction on next steps (except for anticipated next phase of JIG work)

- discussions continued on clarification on string similarity review and confusingly similarity issue
