Action Items: 2016-12-08 Board Candidate Evaluation Committee (BCEC)

Decision:

• BCEC has unanimously agreed that the BCEC Slate of Candidates should consist of Alan Greenberg and Leon Sanchez; four members who were not present (Fatimata,Gunela,Carlos, and Mohamed) sent their concurrence to Julie Hammer via emails
• BCEC has agreed that further consultation with either Referees or with the Candidates themselves would not add anything further to the evaluation
• BCEC has agreed that the Chair of the BMSPC should be consulted regarding whether an early announcement of the BCEC Slate of Candidates is appropriate
• BCEC has agreed to keep the already scheduled meetings in order to work on the BCEC final report and other remaining work

Action Items:

• julie.hammer to contact the members who didn't attend the BCEC call (Fatimata, Gunela, Carlos, and Mohamed) to ask for their concurrence with the decision on the BCEC Slate of Candidates
• julie.hammer to note that the BCEC final report should make recommendations regarding the use of templates and tools developed in the current selection for future selections 
• julie.hammer to consult with Tijani whether to bring forward the announcement to allow his Committee to start its work early
• julie.hammer to work with Ariel Liang and Heidi Ullrich to identify issues with Tijani in order to smoothly transit the selection work to the BMSPC
