| I am a seasoned professional and a daring leader with over 26 years of experience in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry. I serve as Director in several Data Group technology companies, including Data Xgen Technologies, which developed the first Made in India email software that is fully EAI-ready and now serves over 50 million users worldwide, and Data Ingenious Global Limited, one of the first private Class A ISPs started in India back in 1999. Over the years, I have been fortunate to lead and deliver multiple award-winning IT projects across India, including staffing and managing technical resources for various government IT initiatives. I have been actively engaged with the global Internet community since 2009 and am honored to have achieved recognition at the international level. My work has always centered around advocating for the digital divide, Universal Acceptance (UA), Email Address Internationalization (EAI), and Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs). I am a strong believer in leveraging emerging technologies and promoting the inclusion of local languages and scripts in the digital ecosystem. Currently I am UA EWG member - Universal Acceptance (UA) Expert Group at ICANN, I also served as the Vice Chair of the Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG) within ICANN, Vice Chair for the EAI Working Group of UASG, Chair of the SPIRT Charter Drafting Team (GNSO), and Member of the NomCom 2025. Beyond this, I have contributed as a member of the NASSCOM Product Council, where I played a key role in creating the Model RFP template for Software Products procurement under the NPSP in India. My contributions extend further to being a member of the ICANN Neo Brahmi General Panel (for generating Label Generation Rules), participating in the IGF’s Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG), serving in IS3C WG 5, and contributing as part of the GNSO Policy Recommendation Drafting Team EPDP on Internationalized Domain Names. My expertise lies deeply in the Names and Numbers space, where I have been consistently working to build globally accepted solutions. What sets me apart is my ability to foster trust-based relationships and break barriers between teams, organizations, and businesses to achieve common goals. On a personal note, I am married and blessed with two daughters. I live with my family in Jaipur, famously known as the Pink City of Rajasthan, India. |
