Background Documents
This PDP was initiated by the GNSO Council in June 2014, following an Issue Report requested by the Council upon the recommendation of another PDP WG (on the Protection of International Organization Identifiers at the Top and Second Level in All gTLDs). The IGO-INGO PDP WG had completed its work in November 2013. The Preliminary Issue Report recommended by the PDP WG and consequently requested by the GNSO Council was published for public comment in March 2014. A Final Issue Report incorporating relevant public comments received was prepared for the GNSO Council in May 2014.
