Dev Anand Teelucksingh:https://icann-community.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/newgtldrg/pages/98632766/New+gTLD+Review+Group+2013.02.25+Teleconference
Kenny Huang:can you hear me
Nathalie Peregrine:Kenny is on AC only
Nathalie Peregrine:I will help you
Kenny Huang:agree
Kenny Huang:sorry my audio has problem
Eduardo Diaz:shall we put tick marks?
Heidi Ullrich:@Dev, will the information be ready in the next several hours? The APRALO call is in 7 hours.
Adela Danciu:so it's 3 or more RALOs per objection statement
Adela Danciu:meaning per application
Garth Bruen:One minute
Heidi Ullrich:Dev, would you like to have a Doodle for the call with the RALO leaders?
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:Yes
Aziz:+1
Eduardo Diaz:Thursday I am in a meeting all day but I am sure Dev and others will be able to answer questions about the next steps in the process
Garth Bruen:Sorry, my AC keeps killing my PC
Silvia Vivanco:Exactly! like a Q & A where you brief them on the process basically
Garth Bruen:Yes
Garth Bruen:I'm sorry to make you repeat
Garth Bruen:Did staff ever answer the question regarding the IDN?
Garth Bruen:I can't support moving forward on that objection until we have an answer
Garth Bruen:One minite
Fatimata:I am sorry but I have to leave now
Fatimata:bye and thank you all
Silvia Vivanco:thank you Fatimata
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:is it .health or .healthy ?
Kenny Huang:yes
Kenny Huang:it can be for both
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:ok! so this explains it all then
Garth Bruen:so then it goes to the intent of the applicant
Adela Danciu:it is separated anyway
Kenny Huang:the two characters IDN can be for noun or adj. In most of the situation the two-chacters starnd for noun.
Yrjö Länsipuro:The intent of the applicant is one thing, but the more important consideration, IMO, is the impression/interpretation by the user
Eduardo Diaz:@Garth: What I am saying is that the intent is not mutually exclusive. Since it has two meanings, it can go either way. Once it is assigned it can used for both meanings which is not the case in the .HEALTH case since it has one meaning only.
Garth Bruen:@Yrjo, the view of the user is unlimited
Aziz:excuse me I have to leave
Garth Bruen:Need an answer from staff...
Adela Danciu:+1
Adela Danciu:@Olivier
Yrjö Länsipuro:Olivier +1
Adela Danciu:I am sorry everybody, but I need to go too.
Heidi Ullrich:Good night, Adela.
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:Thanks Adela
Adela Danciu:A last comment from my part: I am well aware all the statments are far from being perfect and the main challenge we faced was actually the lack of sufficient comments and involvement from the communities the At-large is supposed to represent
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:want to take the floor one last time?
Adela Danciu:but this whole endevour is pioneer work for everybody
Adela Danciu:no, I'm ok - it's "closing comments" :)
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:+1 Adela
Adela Danciu:so we should at least give it a try with what we have
Adela Danciu:than you
Adela Danciu:was a very nice experience ;)
Adela Danciu:bye all - good night!
Eduardo Diaz:The other thing is that the APRALO will have an oportunity to look at this IDN objection
Eduardo Diaz:which I believe will be able to interpret it accordingly
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:"Time flies like an arrow and fruit flies like a banana" is a classic
Garth Bruen:It is not my intent to hold up the process
Eduardo Diaz:It is interesting that inthe Gac Early Warning the string they used was .HEALTHY
Eduardo Diaz:and then in their writting they refer to .HEALTH
Kenny Huang:When one uses Google dictionary, it shows the IDN for both (health/healthy). Written Two-characters IDN usually used for noun.
Kenny Huang:Chinese use Three-characters for adj.
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:good point, Kenny
Silvia Vivanco:Yes, thank you Dev!
Eduardo Diaz:Gracias Dev
