I am an officer of a gTLD Registry and am the Vice Chair of Administration of the RySG. Other than that, I sometimes participate in the At-Large and policy working groups in my personal capacity.

I may provide legal and consulting services to various entities within the ICANN ecosystem, but I am not officially representing any one organization in any PDP or ICANN working group.

In July 2024 I was elected as the Vice Chair of Administration of the gTLD Registries Stakeholder Group.

I previously served on the SubPro IRT, and as the ODP Liaison for SubPro in 2022. In connection with that, I participated in the small team of GNSO Councilors on SubPro issues and participated in the Closed Generics discussion in that capacity.  Prior to that I was one of the co-chairs of the SubPro PDP which ran from 2016-2021.  I also previously served in a number of positions in the ICANN community including,  as Chair of the RySG, member and Vice Chair of the GNSO Council (2 terms), Chair of the PDP Working Group (PDP 2.0), a co-chair of the New gTLDs Discussion Group, RySG member of the legal negotiating team for the Registry Agreement, the Intellectual Property IRT (2009), and a number of other ICANN committees and working groups involving rights protection mechanisms, reserved names, the policy-development process, transfers, whois, domain name abuse, and ICANN accountability.

I am the Chair of the SPIRT and disclose that I have clients that intend to apply for one or more new gTLDs in the 2026 New gTLD round. However, as of January 15, 2026, I am not being paid by any of those clients for the work that I am doing for those clients.
