When ICANN discusses Zoom on upcoming At-Large Technology Working Group calls, what should we ask them? Submit your questions on this wiki page!

For meetings that have multiple audio streams (when interpretation) is done, would attendees have the ability to select which audio channel (EN, FR, ES, etc) to be able to listen and respond in? (Submitted by Dev Anand Teelucksingh)

Do they have to be dialed into the Phone Bridge or could they use the computer Audio?

How would this work?

Currently, users cannot see the chats that had occurred prior to their arriving, but Zoom is looking at a work around? When will users be able to see the chat that occurred prior to their arriving(Submitted by Judith Hellerstein )

If people signed up for the free zoom account will they be able to continue to see the chats after the call?  Can they continue chatting on a specific topic after the call?  (submitted by Judith Hellerstein )

How can a person using a screen reader access the content on the shared screen in Zoom? --Muhammad Shabbir.

One solution is that speakers also share the content that they are about to share through zoom screen sharing, with the participants through a link or using content sharing option in zoom.

Another comment that I have relates to the CPU load while using Zoom on mid-range handsets (mine's a Samsung Galaxy J7 Max). There is a distinct impact on Zoom's audio when I turn on the display or switch from the home screen to Chats, with the audio getting chopped. Our general information is that Zoom performs well under low-bandwidth conditions....but do we have any feedback on how Zoom performs on cheaper mobiles? Is there any way to improve this performance (I usually close all my apps before using Zoom, but the above behavior persists). satish.babu

GNSO calls have the host using two screens that are shared and in the desktop version you can switch between these screens but it seems the mobile app does not allow for screen switching. Is there a way to allow mobile viewers to see both screens and toggle.  If not, when will this be changed? Judith Hellerstein

If not, perhaps the agenda can be shared in a different manner so people on mobile can see the main shared screen. Judith Hellerstein

Will we be able to get automatic transcripts of Zoom recorded At-Large meetings?

(Submitted by Dev Anand Teelucksingh) And Judith Hellerstein

The feature is outlined here : https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115004794983-Automatically-Transcribe-Cloud-Recordings- - it would be good if this is enabled as a rough transcript can be provided immediately after the meeting.z

The GNSO seems to be able to put up the transcripts using the machine translation facility for recordings in the cloud, but not sure why At Large cannot.  If machine transcriptions are allowed and approved by Language services than they should be allowed for all SO/ACs

Is Zoom using the Google Automatic captioning using artificial Intelligence for its Captioning or RTT or is it using another protocol? (submitted by Judith Hellerstein )

Will we be able to turn out these AI/Machine captions for all calls? (Submitted by Judith Hellerstein )zzzz

Can the participants list be a pop out section so that speakers can see the raised hands section when they are sharing their screens Judith Hellerstein

Will the Speakers be able to see the order that hands are raised in Zoom ricardo.holmquist I was under the impression this was fixed for ICANN's version of Zoom (the raised hands will be shown in the order that they were raised). It has not been fixed for generic versions of Zoom. satish.babu

I have a generic comment to make: while comparing Zoom feature-by-feature with Adobe Connect is fine, we must remember that AC is an older platform, and that we should compare Zoom with the latest generation of web conferencing tools and not just AC. satish.babu
