  Carlton Samuels:on a phone so..
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:much improved thanks Tijani last Thursday night my time was awefu
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:one of my worst nights ever though
Evan Leibovitch:I'm OK with the current revision and was the only one complaining IIRC
Tijani BEN JEMAA:I'm so sorry to hear that
Heidi Ullrich 2:It is an outdate page, Alan.
Heidi Ullrich 2:It has been removed...
Matt Ashtiani:At-Large Proposed Revised Process for Handling Requests for Removal of Cross-Ownership Restrictions on Operators of Existing gTLDs Workspace - https://community.icann.org/x/tAQQAg
  Alan Greenberg:https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/Policy+Advice+Development+Schedule
Tijani BEN JEMAA:and I hope you will totally recover very very soon
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:all ok now NP
Evan Leibovitch:@CS: so you anticipate the pushback will be with the speed rather than the substance?
Rinalia Abdul Rahim:Can we make that an AI, OCL?
Rinalia Abdul Rahim:On statement links to point to our community statements.
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:I agree OCL very annoying
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:Yes -- AI: On statement links to point to our community statements.
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:a
Julie Hammer:Gisella, AI on me is in relation to Mikey's comments on Draft Statement on ICANN's Role and Remit in SSR, not the SSR-RT Report.
Heidi Ullrich 2:There is a new open PC: ICANN Board Conflicts of Interest Review - Independent Expert Report  - Comment period closes 6 July. Please refresh your agenda.
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:Avri and Wendy are reflecting what IS the NCUC  .? perhaps NCSG view  any way re Who is
Evan Leibovitch:NCUC != NCSG.... the NPOC is not of that view
  Evan Leibovitch:NCUC + NPOC = NCSG
Evan Leibovitch:The NPOC view appears to be close to ours.
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:indeed
Evan Leibovitch:Then we apparently have to kill it one more time :-P
Evan Leibovitch:There seems to be a lot of overlap in the people working on WHOS and on Registrant Rights.
Evan Leibovitch:Might be enough interest in an ad hoc meeting of the two if a formal Prague meeting hasn't been scheduled
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:There is a lot going on with the two subjects being linked, yes
Evan Leibovitch:the issue here appears to be not about the entitlement to access/privacy rather than the efficacy of third parties used to block direct access.
Heidi Ullrich 2:Who will take the pen on the Interisle PC?
  Olivier Crepin-Leblond:Carlton
  Heidi Ullrich 2:Thanks!
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:but I gather that Alan will work on this too
  Olivier Crepin-Leblond::-)
Evan Leibovitch:Just an acknowledgement of the bias going in
  Carlton Samuels:@Evan: +1
Alan Greenberg:I really don't view it as bias going in. It is the reality that due to the bias, or actuallity the interests of the parie involved, we are not going to get candid full release of information, and there is no way to compel it.
  Alan Greenberg:pare=parties
Sebastien:I am looking to http://www.icann.org/en/news/public-comment and there is no such comments requested????
Sebastien:no it the end is 3 August
  Sebastien:ok I mistake
Rinalia Abdul Rahim:we can hear you.
Julie Hammer:Agree with Cheryl, any meaningful comment needs significant work and long term view.
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:might fix it for FY14
Heidi Ullrich 2:Julie, will you take the lead on drafting this statement with assistance from Tijani?
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:this is s lost cause IMO
  Carlton Samuels:@Alan + CLO on budhget matter:+1
  Matt Ashtiani:https://community.icann.org/display/alacpolicydev/At-Large+Inter-Registrar+Transfer+Policy+Part+C+Policy+Development+Process+Initial+Report++Workspace
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:no statement required at this stage
Julie Hammer:Heidi, I think we're waiting till Prague breifing before deciding whether any statement should be submitted.
  Heidi Ullrich 2:Thanks, Julie!
  Matt Ashtiani:https://community.icann.org/x/GwQQAg
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:the alternate is proper forecast and planning like ATRT Asked for
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:hand up
Evan Leibovitch:It's not just western summer. ICANN is equally clueless about the chinese new year
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:lunar as it effects way more than China :-)
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:most of A P
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:this 'is a ditto to the last
  Heidi Ullrich 2:Tuesday's https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/At-Large+Meetings+-+Tuesday%2C+26+June+2012
  Evan Leibovitch:https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/At-Large+RRR+WG+Compliance+Workspace
Heidi Ullrich 2:Should JJS's questions be moved to the Questions for Compliance workspace?
Carlton Samuels:@Evan's clarification: +1. We will send the questions to be answered at their appearance, nix to the dog n pony!
Heidi Ullrich 2:Also, may I send these to Compliance today? The deadline for questions was 1 June.
Heidi Ullrich 2:I will note that slides are note required.
  Heidi Ullrich 2:not
Carlton Samuels:@Heidi: Yes, that would be very much appreciated....your usual smoothing of the waters very much needed here
Heidi Ullrich 2:Thanks, Carlton. I had a good talk with Maguy last week re all of this. She is looking forward to speaking with the ALAC. She is in regular contact with Garth.
Heidi Ullrich 2:Should the draft by Garth be discussed in Prague with Compliance? Should this text be sent to Compliance? Should it be added to the dropbox of documents?
  Alan Greenberg:+1 Seb.
Evan Leibovitch:We need to DRIVE the change rather than just wait for something to happen and react to it.
Evan Leibovitch:We can't wait for the new CEO to make the point.
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:timing is important perhaps keeping some powder dry might be advised
Alan Greenberg:Evan, aside from with the Board, prior pushing is rather moot.
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:why not Evan?
  Evan Leibovitch:See comment #1
Evan Leibovitch:BTW, of course July 1 is important. Canada turns 145 years old that day.
  Heidi Ullrich 2:Kinderis letter: http://www.icann.org/en/news/correspondence/kinderis-to-chalaby-06jun12-en
Cheryl Langdon-Orr:the CEO will drive change not just us making noise
Evan Leibovitch:One does not reduce the need for the other
Evan Leibovitch:And if all we are is perceived as noise .... well not much we can do about that.
Alan Greenberg:It will be cathartic to cmment bt perhaps not productive.
Evan Leibovitch:perhaps so, perhaps not.  The CEO may drive change but is still there to execute Board direction. If the Board is OK with the status quop the CEO will not necessarily effect change here.
Sebastien:Then ask the question to the Board - not to staff
Evan Leibovitch:That was all I ever intended. I never raised the issue about CEO.
Carlton Samuels:Yes Alan. Ta;lk about it in Prague!!!
  Carlton Samuels:Thank you all.
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:bye all
  Rinalia Abdul Rahim:Bye.
Heidi Ullrich 2:There is a slot for hot topics on Sunday afternoon.
  Julie Hammer:Thanks
  Heidi Ullrich 2:Save travels!
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:safe travels
