The MYICANN Calendar is the main tool currently used to share regional, global and community upcoming events.  It can be found at https://myicann.org/calendar.

Work continues on this platform to make it more user friendly from community viewpoint, provide consistent information from different ICANN communities, encompass other Internet events outside of ICANN, and add more functionality such as search by region and type of event.  Things to consider:

  • What resources do we need
  • How can we make the best use of the Speaker Bureau across the wider community
  • How can we make sure we prioritize events for speakers, including geographic priorities/developing countries
  • Who speaks for ICANN and how are they trained
  • Who prepares content
  • How do we ensure we are addressing “new” audiences as well as traditional IG ones
  • No labels
