Text
Whereas, Njeri Rionge was appointed to the ICANN Board by the Nominating Committee and started serving on 26 June 2003. She was appointed to a second term, which started on 4 December 2005.
Whereas, Njeri has served the Board with considerable energy and skill. She has served as Chair of the ICANN Audit Committee and as a member of the Board Governance, Conflicts of Interest, and Compensation Committees, and has provided excellent insight, leadership and expertise in these roles.
Whereas, Njeri is concluding her service as a Director of the ICANN Board at this Cairo meeting.
Resolved (2008.11.07.13), the ICANN Board resolves that Njeri Rionge has earned the deep appreciation of the Board for her terms of service, and the Board wishes Ms. Rionge well in all future endeavors.
