Linkage of strategy and execution: ICANN's 3-year Strategic Plan is linked to the annual Operating Plan and Budget by a set of goals formulated from strategic objectives. The Execution Structure is a management system methodology that will ensure that strategy is translated into actionable and measurable programs, projects and activities. These are the critical elements that will ensure that ICANN's strategy supports its vision and mission and is implemented with accountability and transparency.
