Evan Leibovitch: (11:53) I take it this meeting is running late ;-)
Evan Leibovitch: (11:53) Very weird to watch from this perspective..
Evan Leibovitch: (11:55) AC is saying this is recorded, tho I hear no
audio yet
Evan Leibovitch: (11:57) Ah, audio OK, just heard GG
Evan Leibovitch: (12:01) Test audio OK
ICANN RP27: (12:01) Thanks!
SR2: (12:09) We are talking about agenda item no.2d
Evan Leibovitch: (12:10) SR2?
SR2: (12:15) SR2 = Ariel
Glenn McKnight: (12:15) @ Jimmy unfortunately the Fellows do not
include North Americans
Glenn McKnight: (12:16) Some in the Next Gen
Glenn McKnight: (12:16) Great people in the Fellowship program - 40
plus people
SR2: (12:16) Evan we noticed that your hand is raised
Evan Leibovitch: (12:16) <COMMENT> To Alan's point.... there is a
severe limit to what can be done under the current limitations of the
CROPP program. I'm not sure what you want to accomplish or what kind of
wonderful results you're expecting after two days. In many cases just
"getting the word out", passing cards and info and USB sticks, may be the
best that can be asked. Demanding gharsher metrics from a program this
limited will not produce satisfying results</COMMENT>
Evan Leibovitch: (12:17) Please read the comment when it's my turn to
"speak", I don't have audio
SR2: (12:17) thanks Evan
Evan Leibovitch: (12:17) Thanks SR2 :-)
Glenn McKnight: (12:17) FYI

Evan Leibovitch: (12:20) <COMMENT>Both Glenn and I stayed longer than
two days on our CROPP trips -- at our own expense -- because two days was
not enough. You've barely become recognized and you have to
leave.</COMMENT>
Evan Leibovitch: (12:20) Please read the two together, Thanks!
SR2: (12:20) will do
Evan Leibovitch: (12:21) Oh, maybe I can use audio after all.
SR2: (12:21) let me know which way you prefer. If you'd like to use
audio, please raise your hand again
Evan Leibovitch: (12:21) I'll try. If I can't, reading it is plan b
SR2: (12:22) okay
Glenn McKnight: (12:22) @Evan I am trying to get Alan's attention to
take your question
Glenn McKnight: (12:22) or comment
Evan Leibovitch: (12:22) no worries. Alan already recopgnized me in the
queue
Evan Leibovitch: (12:23) No English interpretation in AC ;-)
SR2: (12:24) unfortunately. you will need to use adigo + 1638 to hear
the English interpretation
Evan Leibovitch: (12:24) Not from here I can't ;-)
Glenn McKnight: (12:25) If we don't use the program in full we risk
losing the whole programme
Glenn McKnight: (12:27) It's critical that each RALO ask for
submissions early and consistent with goals of CROPP and the regional
outreach/engagement strategy
judith hellerstein: (12:28) agree with Glenn. we also need to make sure
the reports are dine on an individual basis
Evan Leibovitch: (12:29) trying to speak
Allan Skuce: (12:29) I can hear you
Gisella Gruber: (12:29) Hi Evan
Gisella Gruber: (12:29) Can you dial-in
Gisella Gruber: (12:29) Ariel can read your comment
Evan Leibovitch: (12:30) OK, do it
Gisella Gruber: (12:30) We need audio bridge for interpretation purposes
Evan Leibovitch: (12:30) Others in AC room can hear me but not in the
room. Just read it out
Gisella Gruber: (12:30) Thank you
Allan Skuce: (12:30) Your keyboard if very loud, Evan
Evan Leibovitch: (12:31) harsher
Gisella Gruber: (12:31) Thank you Ariel
Evan Leibovitch: (12:31) muted
Evan Leibovitch: (12:32) +1 Alan
Evan Leibovitch: (12:32) Yes, that would be better
Evan Leibovitch: (12:32) It's a mechanical keyboard :-)
Glenn McKnight: (12:34) Some people can do amazing stuff in a short
period, others take a lifetime, It's important to repeat visits to
an event. We visitied NTEN a technical non profit conference two
years in a row and we saw substantial postive response. ie. speaker
gigs, Birds of Feather, Radio spots etc
Glenn McKnight: (12:34) If someone only hangs around your buddies you
can expect little results
Evan Leibovitch: (12:34) <COMMENT>Alan, I did not witness the kind of
flexibility you claimed</COMMENT>
Glenn McKnight: (12:36) @On fellowship it doesn't provide new blood
to NARALO and EURALO
Glenn McKnight: (12:36) Only one person from Canada on NextGen
Evan Leibovitch: (12:38) <COMMENT>Why not just allocate a certain
number of days per RALO, and let the RALO determine how many trips that
merits?</COMMENT>
Evan Leibovitch: (12:38) Please read that one line when possible,
Ariel, Thanks!
SR2: (12:39) okay
Glenn McKnight: (12:39) @Evan we will be doing a extensive analysis
for NARALO on these issues soon.
Evan Leibovitch: (12:40) I just saw "Microphone rights granted" Maybe I
have audio now.
Glenn McKnight: (12:41) @ Evan we will create a working document in
accord to NARALO outreach/engagement strategy
Evan Leibovitch: (12:41) Thanks!
SR2: (12:41) my pleasure
