In 2025 alone, APRALO had identified 2 issues which warranted an APRALO statement expressing a consensus-based view of the community. These were:

  1. In January, in response to the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) Framework Public Comment Proceeding; and

  2. In May, in response to the How We Meet: Reviewing the Implementation of the ICANN Public Meetings Strategy Public Comment Proceeding.

You are invited to participate in this webinar to gain an understanding of the processes and tools utilized by the shepherds of the two small teams of volunteers, to solicit input, build consensus position(s) from such input, and eventually, to produce their statements.

Join our protagonists in a discussion on Wednesday, 10 September 2025 at 06:00 UTC for 60 minutes, where participants can expect to gain from these two case studies:

  • an insight into our RALO’s consensus-building processes;

  • an understanding of the tools used for consensus-building;

  • an acknowledgement of the APRALO Leadership Team’s role in statement development; and

  • an opportunity to suggest improvements for socializing issues and engaging more community participation in our consensus-building and statement development processes.
