5. ICANN Africa Reports/Updates
- The Public Period comment for the Africa Regional Plan is 06 June 2025. Both Individual of group comments are welcome
- GSE Africa and TE Engagement Team is participating this week in the regional event called OSIANE. They had
- a technical session on Internet Measurement,
- An academic Engagement and Workshop at University Denis Sassou Nguesso
- Workshop on the Next Round of new gTLD
- Conference with Information System Director
- GSE has participated in UA. Day event in Togo, Benin, Senegal, Sierra Leone and in the AFRALO Regional one. We will also participate in the next one happening in Accra Ghana on May 20, 2025
- We are contributing and participating in the regional Schools and regional Internet Governance Forum. Please visit the ICAN Engagement Calendar for More Information
- We will have Africa Space on Wednesday 11 June 2025 during ICANN 83. Details will be shared later
- We will give more information about “ the Africa Internet Summit 2025, September 2025” and the regional events happening in Accra in December 2025.
