Our mission at Connecting.nyc Inc. is to advance the quality of city life through the development of the .nyc TLD as a public interest resource. We do so through research, public education, and participation in industry activities. In 2012 we enhanced our mission by joining with ICANN as part of its At-Large Structure. And in 2015 we were granted special consultative status (NGO) at the United Nations (we're an NGO)with the mission of advancing the understanding of cities about the utility of TLDs.
