See LACRALO Rules of Procedure : Article 19: In the case of resignation or vacancy in any position, the position shall be occupied by another representative of the same subregion through an election process. Upon failure to find a candidate from the same subregion due to any reason, this same subregion can nominate an active member of any ALS. The winner of the election may assume the role inmediately after the election and complete the term of the person who resigned. Once the term of the Chair elect or Secretary elect ends, she or he will continue as Chair or Secretary, respectively as contemplated in the normal process.
ES: Article 19: En caso de renuncia o vacancia en algún cargo, este será ocupado por otro representante de la misma subregión mediante procedimiento eleccionario. En caso de que sea imposible encontrar un candidato de la misma subregión por cualquier causa, esta misma subregión puede nominar a un miembro activo de cualquier ALS.
