Webinar: Registration Directory Service (RDS)-WHOIS2 Review Draft Report

On 17 September 2018, the Registration Directory Service (RDS)-WHOIS2 Review Team will host two webinars on its Draft Report, which was posted for public comment on 4 September 2018.
During the webinar, members of the RDS-WHOIS2 Review Team will provide a briefing on the Draft Report, which contains draft findings and recommendations pertaining to the gTLD registry directory service. Participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions directly to the review team.

Registration Directory Service (RDS-WHOIS2) Review Team Draft Report of Recommendations4 September 2018 - The RDS-WHOIS2-RT is seeking Community input on its Draft Report and 23 draft recommendations, which assess:
  1. the extent to which prior Directory Service Review recommendations have been implemented and the extent to which implementation of such recommendations has resulted in the intended effect.
  2. the effectiveness of the then current gTLD registry directory service and whether its implementation meets the legitimate needs of law enforcement, promotes consumer trust and safeguards registrant data.

28 June 2018 - The RDS-WHOIS2 Review Team will update updated the community on its findings to date and seek , sought input on its findings as well as address preliminary fidings, and addressed any questions pertaining to its scope and work plan. This is your opportunity to provide input to the RDS-WHOIS2 Review Team prior to the finalization of their Draft Report.
