Eligibility
This program is designed for motivated undergraduate and graduate students from universities and those engaged in IG relevant entities in the Asia Pacific Region. As the sessions and discussions are conducted in English, a good grasp of the English language is preferred.
Full Fellowship will be given to suitable candidates from Asia Pacific.
Target number of participants: ∓ 60 participants [1]
Selection Process
Selection of suitable candidates will be conducted by a selection committee comprised of the following:
Representative from KISA
Representative from Yonsei University
Representative from ICANN
Representative from NetMission/DotAsia
Prerequisite
Selected candidates will have to complete a series of online courses on Internet governance and ICANN before they are able to attend the academy.

Answer: The fellowship covers flight (economy class) and accommodation (university dormitory).

Question: When will the successful applicants be notified?
Answer: Should you be selected, an offer email will be sent around 8 July, offering you a position as a participant in APIGA 2016. Your participation will only be confirmed after following the instructions in the offer email. Participants who reject the offer or who are unable to complete the instructions by the deadline mentioned in the offer email will thus forfeit the offer, and another applicant will be offered participation in place.
After completing the instructions, another email will be sent to you acknowledging and confirming you as a participant.
[1] This is inclusive of approximately 20 Fellowship beneficiaries from the Asia Pacific. Exact number depends on the sponsorship amount available.
