In Buenos Aires, we held a joint BCEC-BMSPC meeting that finalized the timeline for the process (https://icann-community.icannatlassian.orgnet/wiki/displayspaces/ABMS/pages/117179943/At-Large+Board+Member+2014+Selection).
In the following days a non-disclosure document has been prepared (https://icann-community.icannatlassian.orgnet/wiki/displayspaces/ABMS/pages/117178388/BCEC+Operating+Principles), and signed by all BCEC members to ensure confidentiality of the candidates data. SoIs have been compiled by most BCEC members (one only still missing).The BCEC Operating Principles of the 2010 process have been adopted for the 2013 process.
The Expression of Interest (EoI) form has been agreed upon. After the Buenos Aires meeting it has been translated in French and Spanish and published on the ALAC Web Site.

The Wiki was updated to allow scoring of the candidates for the different sections of the EoI, to allow a more granular evaluation and a better comparison.

References are coming in Some referees have chosen to ask for a teleconference with the BCEC Chair rather than sending a written report In those cases, the call has been recorded, and the Chair has submitted a short summary of the conversation, although the official record is the audio recording of the call.
A first straw poll voting has been conducted on the 9 candidatures.

The voting software has been updated and the voting is ongoing has been held with the agreed rules. A Doodle poll has been started to choose the date of the teleconference, either Monday 20 or Tuesday 21 January.
Next steps
The new deadline for submission of reference letters is Sunday 19 JanuaryThe deadline for the vote was Monday 20 January, and a teleconference has been scheduled for Tuesday 21 January to discuss the outcome and further actions.
The result of the vote has been very clear We had a first group of 5 candidates who have obtained a very high score, and a second group of 3 candidates with a substantially lower score. Therefore, at the teleconference it has been unanimously decided to compile the slate of candidates including the 5 candidates that have obtained the higher score. The decision has been confirmed on the mailing list.
The slate of candidates has been communicated to the BMSPC Chair and to the ALAC Chair on Sunday, 26 January.

A report has been prepared, including statistics on the process, and a "lessons learned" draft document has been distributed for discussion.
