ICANN Meeting Funded Traveler Reports
Welcome to the comprehensive resource where transparency meets global collaboration: the ICANN Meeting Funded Traveler Reports. At the core of our mission is the commitment to openness, accountability, and ensuring that our community is informed and engaged.
ICANN is committed to facilitating meaningful participation from diverse global communities. To achieve this, various ICANN Community groups offer funding to volunteers who bring invaluable perspectives and expertise to our meetings. This support is essential for ensuring that all voices are heard, enabling informed decision-making in shaping the future of Internet governance.
Transparency serves as the cornerstone of our efforts to foster trust and inclusivity within the ICANN community. By publishing detailed reports on the funded travelers for each ICANN Meeting, we aim to provide clear insights into how resources are allocated to support the vital participation of volunteers. This transparency not only highlights our dedication to efficient resource management but also encourages a culture of shared understanding and collective responsibility.
The funding structure acknowledges the varying needs of our participants:
- Full Support Equivalent: Most travelers receive comprehensive support covering airfare, lodging, and per diem, however each traveler's circumstances are unique, so in some cases there is only partial support noted. This may include covering only airfare, or only lodging and per diem, allowing for the maximize number of participants to be funded.
- Each report is broken down by the Funding Group, detailing the costs per expense area, then broken down by individual funded travelers and their costs per expense area.
We believe that by sharing these reports, we are not only enhancing transparency but also inspiring more individuals to join our community. We invite you to explore the funded travelers reports to gain a deeper understanding of how ICANN is empowering volunteers to contribute to our shared mission.

In light of recent changes in privacy regulations, ICANN Travel Support is making enhancements to the Travel Reports that are published for every meeting for our funded travelerstravelers. Moving forward, ICANN will publish the overall cost per group and will be redacting the individual cost per travelertraveler. This change will be reflected reflected on ICANN62 Travel Report and subsequent reports moving forward.
