3.0 EVALUATION/COMPARING WEB CONFERENCING SOLUTIONS

Things to consider :

  • any other conferencing solution to evaluate? Suggestion is UberConference (https://www.uberconference.com/)
  • Do TTF members have any opinions on the conferencing solutions evaluated so far? If we had to choose a webconferencing solution for At-Large, what would it be?
  • Is there a feature that's you feel is missing from the conferencing solutions used (Adobe Connect, Lucid)

4.0 IDEAS FOR IMPROVING THE ORGANISATION OF AT-LARGE CONTENT (AT-LARGE WORKING GROUPS)

Re:  having a separate installation of Confluence to experiment with and test ideas. Added https://icann-community.icannatlassian.orgnet/wiki/displayspaces/atlarge/pages/99546738/Suggested+Confluence+plugins to document suggested Confluence addons.

Some of the issues:

  • inconsistent meeting titles (some had dates in the meeting pages, some did not)
  • some of the Confluence Page URL's Contain pageId Instead of The Page Title

  • for a separate confluence instance, completely independent of the confluence installation in use by ICANN At-Large (and other ICANN communities)

  • having a copy of the ALAC space (everything under https://icann-community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=2265510atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/atlarge/overview ) to be able to manipulate and reorganise

  • having admin access to be able to install (and uninstall) plugins and/or themes

5.0 COLLOBORATING WITH ICANN IT STAFF REGARDING ADOBE CONNECT

  • work with ICANN IT staff to troubleshoot reports made by several At-Large users that Adobe Connect (AC) on Linux doesn't work.
  • collaborating on documenting key Adobe Connect features that many users may not be aware of.  One feature to be installed is AC audio dial out
