Overview

The community-led NomCom RIWG ( Nominating Committee Review Implementation Working Group (NomCom RIWG) proposed certain ICANN Bylaws changes relating to the composition of the NomCom that would, if approved by the ICANN Board, require GNSO SG/Cs stakeholder groups and constituencies to determine amongst themselves how to allocate the GNSO’s seven assigned NomCom seats. The proposal concerned Recommendation 10 of the most recent NomCom Review, which was that “representation on the NomCom should be re-balanced immediately and then be reviewed every 5 years.”
