ALAC: Policy Discussion - Part II

At-Large New gTLD Working Group Meeting

•  Unlicensed user Heidi Ullrich is to invite Unlicensed user and Unlicensed user Cintra Sooknanan and karla.valente to a future New gTLD WG meeting to discuss the SARP issue.
•  Unlicensed useravri.doria is to speak to Unlicensed user zahid.jamil and ask for a report on the SARP.
•  Unlicensed user cw@christopherwilkinson.eu is to ask Unlicensed user karla.valente and other relevant ICANN Staff for an evaluation of the SARP.
•  Unlicensed user Heidi Ullrich is to invite the JAS WG and Unlicensed user karla.valente to the next New gTLD WG meeting during an ICANN Meeting.
•  The JAS Co-chairs, the ALAC and gNSO Chairs are to have a joint meeting on New gTLDs.

APRALO Monthly Meeting

•  Unlicensed userholly.raiche is to ask the ALAC to submit a Statement expressing disappointment that APRALO was not invited to the ICANN Asia Strategy Panel.

  •  At-Large New gTLD Outreach and Evaluation Survey;
  •  ICANN ATRT2; and

ALAC Executive Committee

•  Unlicensed userjulie.hammer is to draft a Statement on behalf of the ALAC that requests the Board to affirm its commitment to preserving the security and stability of the DNS with the delegation of the new gTLDs. In particular, the Statement will request the Board to review the status of implementation of relevant SSAC recommendations, including SAC 045.
•  The ALAC is to participate in the ccNSO 10 year activities during the 47^th ICANN Meeting in Durban.
•  The ALAC is to organize a webinar on ccTLD delegation and re-delegation issues. The webinar is to include members of the ccNSO, Keith Davidson, senior Staff, and relevant IANA Staff.
•  Unlicensed user Heidi Ullrich is to allocated 60 minutes to Steve Crocker visits to ExCom meetings.
•  Unlicensed user Olivier Crépin-Leblond is to send a letter of thanks to Fadi Chéhade noting the the extraordinary work of ICANN Constituency Travel and in particular Joseph de Jesus.
