During this meeting, IGLC Chair Annaliese Williams (.au) will welcome Lise Fuhr as a guest speaker. As a follow-up, on Monday, 13 March (15:00-16:00 pm local time in Cancun), Lise will participate in an informal gathering with IGLC members and potentially interested ccTLD managers that participate in person at ICANN76.

Background

Lise Fuhr (Director General at ETNO) is a member of the IGF Leadership Panel. In August 2022, The United Nations Secretary-General has appointed 10 high-level and eminent persons to serve on his inaugural Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Leadership Panel.   In line with the mandate of the IGF and as recommended in the Secretary-General’s Roadmap for Digital Cooperation, the United Nations Secretary-General has established the IGF Leadership Panel as a strategic, empowered, and multi stakeholder body, to address strategic and urgent issues, and to highlight Forum discussions and possible follow-up actions, in order to promote greater impact and dissemination of IGF discussions. Read more:  https://www.intgovforum.org/en/content/igf-leadership-panel-members
