On 28 May 2022, the ccNSO as a Decisional Participant received a notice from the ICANN Secretary pursuant to Section 22.5(a)(v) of the ICANN Bylaws, which initiated the 21 days Rejection Action Petition Period for the community. The deadline for submission of a Rejection Action Petition(s) to the ccNSO role account (ccnso-petions@icann.org) is 10 June 2022 at 23:59 UTC.

If you are interested in submitting a Rejection Action Petition with respect to the adopted FY24 Operating Plan and Budget, please consult Section 2 of Annex D for the requirements, which must be met (https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/governance/bylaws-en/#annexD ). 

Please be advised that per Annex D Section 2.2(a)(i)(A) the Rejection Action Petition must be:

“…based on one or more significant issues that were specifically raised in the applicable public comment period(s) relating to perceived inconsistencies with the Mission, purpose and role set forth in ICANN's Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, the global public interest, the needs of ICANN's stakeholders, financial stability, or other matter of concern to the community.”

According to the Guideline, the ccNSO will consider a Rejection Action Petition from the following constituents:

• ccTLD managers,
• Individual(s) directly related to a ccTLD manager,
• ccNSO working groups or committees mandated to submit such a pe//on,
• Regional ccTLD organisations (as defined in sec/on 10.5 of the ICANN Bylaws),
• the ccNSO Council.

On 1 May 2022, the ICANN Board of Directors approved the amendment of Article 10, and Annex B of the ICANN Bylaws (see: https://www.icann.org/resources/board-material/resolutions-2022-05-01-en#2.c ).

On 10 March 2022, the ccNSO as a Decisional Participant received a notice from the ICANN Secretary pursuant to Section 22.5(a)(v) of the ICANN Bylaws, which initiated the 21 days Rejection Action Petition Period from the community.

The deadline for submission of a Rejection Action Petition(s) to the ccNSO role account (ccnso-petions@icann.org) is 24 May 2022 at 23:59 UTC.

On 24 February 2022, the ICANN Board of Directors approved the FY24 IANA Budget (see https://www.icann.org/resources/boardmaterial/resolutions-2022-02-24-en#2.a)

On 09 March 2020, the ccNSO as a Decisional Participant received a notice from the ICANN Secretary pursuant to Section 22.4(a)(v) of the ICANN Bylaws. This Board Decision is subject to the Rejection Action Petition by the Community.

On 14 May 2020, the ccNSO as a Decisional Participant received a notice from the ICANN Secretary pursuant to Section 22.4(a)(v) of the ICANN Bylaws.

On 7 May 2020, the ICANN Board of Directors approved the FY21-25 Five Year Operating and Financial Plan (see https://www.icann.org/resources/board-material/resolutions-2020-05-07-en#2.a). 

On 14 May 2020, the ccNSO as a Decisional Participant received a notice from the ICANN Secretary pursuant to Section 22.5(a)(v) of the ICANN Bylaws.

The approved FY21-25 Five Year Operating and Financial Plan (https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/adopted-op-financial-plan-fy21-25-opplan-fy21-07may20-en.pdf) is subject to Rejection Action Petitions from the community.

On 23 June 2019, the ICANN Board of Directors approved the Five-Year Strategic Plan for FY21-25 (see https://www.icann.org/resources/board-material/resolutions-2019-06-23-en#2.a).

On 2 July 2019, the ccNSO as a Decisional participant received a notice from the ICANN Secretary pursuant to Section 22.5(b)(v) of the ICANN Bylaws.

On 24 June 2017, the ICANN Board adopted ICANN's FY18 Operating Plan and Budget, the FY18 IANA Budget, and updates to the Five-Year Operating Plan. Under ICANN's post-IANA Stewardship Transition Bylaws, the Empowered Community has the power to consider and, if they choose, to reject these documents before they go into effect.
