  • ICANN provided the status of negotiations on 3 July 2001 at: While a draft MOU with Rootserver Operators was created, due to ongoing work surrounding ICANN reform the negotiations did not conclude.  The Model MOU is at http://www.icann.org/en/committees/general/statusreport-03jul01dns-root/model-root-server-mou-21jan02.htm.  
  • ICANN identified that a team was still documenting the current root-system structure and that negotiations for enhancements would continue upon completion of the documentation: provided periodic updates on this work to the US Government through its Status Reports on the Joint Project Agreement, available at http://www.icann.org/en/general/status-report-15aug02agreements.htm. The resolution does not address funding for the items identified therein
