    3. What are the challenges you face in contributing to the budget and ops plan discussions?
  4. NCSG Question to the Board
    1. We all realize the multistakeholder model created by the original, mostly technical, Internet community (that resulted in the success story of the Internet, as well as the creation of institutions such as ICANN, IETF, ISOC and the RIRs) is under threat from on one hand increasing nationalism and isolationism that implies a shift back to a multilateral/bilateral world order, and the dominance of the tech giants on the other. Does the ICANN board
have any ideas of initiatives that would help unite the technical, business and civil society communities that all need to work together to defend the Internet as we know it?

    2. How does the board plan to ensure continuous improvement vis-a-vis the transparency of the decision emanating from the GIP framework reflect ICANN culture, and in what ways can the non commercial community be an instrument. In addition, amidst the fast evolving regulatory landscape demanding privacy and accuracy, how can and do the GIP framework be fundamental to preserving registrants privacy.
