2. Transition of the IANA function and responsibility of ICANN

 With great interest, AFRALO followed the evolution of this process of transition with a very active participation in different groups: ICG, CWG and CCWG. AFRALO was represented by Mohamed, Tijani and Seun.

    • be submitted to the CROPP Review Team through the coordinators of the program at least 8 weeks before the start of the trip

    • respect the provisions of the rules and guidelines of the CROPP programs for the current  fiscal year (FY17)
    • Each approved trip should be assessed by the traveller at the latest 3 weeks after returning. This assessment should show how the objectives that the traveller had promised to achieve were met.

4. New ALS Applications

Following the positive advice from AFRALO, ALAC accredited two new ALS: INTIC4DEV (Institute of ICT for development) of Togo and Internet Society Chapter Ghana based in Accra. Furthermore, AFRALO gave positive advice for the accreditation of a new request from the Forum on governance of the Internet in Benin.
